For post-purchase upsells, Kairo stores average 20%+ conversion. Zipify's own calculator uses a 15% "typical take rate" for OCU, and its blog puts merchants with optimized offers at 16.2%. Kairo can show up to 3 post-purchase offers per order, where OCU stops at 2. Every tier includes post-purchase surveys with discount rewards, thank you and order status page editing, and A/B tests with your own traffic split.

At most upsell revenue levels, yes. Both apps charge by the upsell revenue they bring in, and Kairo's tiers are lower. At $1,500 a month in upsells, OCU costs $99 and Kairo $49. At $12,000 it's $399 vs $199, and at $45,000 it's $999 vs $449. On OCU's new pricing there are two exceptions: between about $250 and $500 a month OCU is $25 and Kairo $29, and above $100,000 both cost $999.

For new installs, yes. Since September 21, 2026, OCU starts at $9.95 instead of $8, and 7 of its 14 tiers cost more. $2,500 to $5,000 a month in upsells now costs $149 instead of $99, and $7,500 to $10,000 costs $269 instead of $199. Zipify says stores that installed OCU before September 21, 2026 keep their current plan.

OCU is one plan whose price follows the upsell revenue it brings in over each 30-day billing cycle, from $9.95 to $999 a month for new installs. That revenue includes tax on upsell items. OCU checks your revenue every 6 hours and adds a usage fee each time you cross into a higher tier. Kairo also prices by upsell revenue over 30-day cycles, from $8 a month, and leaves tax out.

At most revenue levels, yes. Zipify says stores that installed OCU before September 21, 2026 keep their current plan, and you can check yours in OCU under Settings > Plan & Billing. On OCU's pricing from before that date, $1,800 a month in upsells costs $99 against Kairo's $49, $12,000 costs $399 against $199, and $22,000 costs $599 against $299.

Install Kairo and let its AI build your offers while OCU keeps running. Then choose Kairo under Settings > Checkout > Post-purchase page, and uninstall OCU. Zipify's docs say OCU can't be paused, so uninstalling is how its billing stops. The Kairo team will also help you set up your first offer.

You can have both installed, but Shopify lets only one app run the post-purchase page at a time. Set Kairo up while OCU is live, then switch the post-purchase page to Kairo. OCU charges at least its base fee every 30-day cycle, even with no upsell revenue, until it's uninstalled.
